Shirley and Chispa trekked up to Vallejo, CA to go to the big Vizsla Club of Northern California Specialty. We’d like to thank La Ree Drolet and Erin Piña for handling Chispa since Jeff was unable to go. Congratulations to Chispa for winning the 12-15 junior bitch class both Saturday and Sunday, June 12th and 13th. And, we’d like to thank Judge Mr. Elliott B. Weiss and Judge Mr. Charles L. Olvis, respectively. On Saturday, Chispa was definitely a contender in the Winner’s Bitch ring. She was moved to the third spot in the line-up, and asked to go around the ring again, twice. It was a great experience for Chispa and her handler, Erin. Good job in the ring, and loved all of the tie-dye!
Shirley had her first experience in the ring as she handled Chispa for Sweepstakes. Now Shirley has a better understanding of what’s expected. Too bad that Chispa and Shirley were up first, and weren’t able to be followers. Oh well, it was a crazy, fun experience. Chispa was patient, and did a good job. Her handler, me, not so much.
