Play With Me, Babies
Today marks the first day that Chispa officially does not want her babies to suck on her. Ah! She is so very crafty! She distracted them as they followed her around like a pack of coyotes. I put one up to her teat, and she gave a low rumbling NO! You shan’t bite me any more!
She has moved into a new phase of motherhood. Nevertheless, she still checks their bottoms to make sure they are clean, and gently plays with them.
They will be 5 weeks old tomorrow.
