WEEK ONE
Pups are ONE WEEK old today! They are growing so very fast, having doubled in size! Each is almost 2 lbs.
Mama Chispa is very busy as she cleans, flips, pushes, feeds, and caresses her babies. She takes a break when they contently sleep, peering into the box upon any whimper, and gently tip-toeing inside if needed. Otherwise she comfortably lies with them, allowing them to rest on her head, foot, or chest. She has a rug burn callus on her elbow from propping herself up to not smother them.
